Paradigma Pembelajaran Berbasis Kasus (CBL) Dalam Perspektif Pendidikan Islam

Abstract


Case-Based  Learning  (CBL)  merupakan  pendekatan,  metode  atau strategi  pembelajaran  aktif  yang  melibatkan  eksplorasi  tentang  situasi realistis  dan  spesifik  yang  bersifat  interaktif  dan  berpusat  pada  siswa,  di mana  siswa  membaca  dan  mendiskusikan  skenario  kehidupan  nyata  yang kompleks melalui penyajian kasus dalam bentuk cerita, narasi atau bentuk lain sesuai dengan kemampuan berpikir analitis dan kapasitas pengambilan keputusan  mereka.  Model  pembelajaran  berbasis  kasus  semacam  ini  pada dasarnya  juga  dikenal  dalam  tradisi  Islam,  terutama  melalui  penggunaan cerita,  kisah  dan  narasi  secara  interaktif  dalam  konteks  kehidupan  nyata, sebagaimana  dapat  dilihat  dalam  Alquran  dan  Sunah.  Namun  demikian, tidak  banyak  pakar  pendidikan  Islam  yang  menyadari  hal  ini,  sehingga model  pembelajaran  berbasis  kasus  dalam  perspektif  Islam  belum  dikenal luas  secara  publik.  Pembelajaran  berbasis  kasus  merupakan  salah  satu metode  yang  paling  menonjol  dalam  Alquran  dan  Sunah  Nabi  Muhammad saw. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari penggunaan cerita, kisah dan narasi dalam Alquran  ketika  Allah  menyampaikan  suatu  informasi  atau  ajaran  kepada Nabi  Muhammad  saw  dan  masyarakat  Arab  waktu  itu.  Bahkan  hampir seluruh ayat Alquran dapat dianggap sebagai koleksi skenario kasus di mana aplikasi  praktis  dari  ayat-ayat  tersebut  diajarkan  secara  hidup,  di  tempat dan waktu kejadian peristiwa.
